Leaky Gut Syndrome

What is Leaky Gut Syndrome?

Leaky gut syndrome is a condition wherein incompletely digested food, toxins, and bacteria move across the small intestine and go into the bloodstream. In layman’s terms, big gaps take place in the middle of the cells that create the lining of the gut. In view of the fact that these gaps are in the gut’s lining, bacteria, toxins, and food can discover their route toward the blood stream.

As soon as the gut’s lining is destroyed because of the leaky gut syndrome, destroyed cells called microvilli will turn out to be incapable to do their function appropriately. Consequently, they can’t produce the enzymes that are very important to excellent digestion. So there will be impairment in the digestion process and the absorption of nutrients is affected and harmful materials are capable of attacking the blood stream. The body will respond to the harmful materials that gain access to the blood stream by the processes of swelling, allergic responses, and other horrible symptoms.

Experts believed that leaky gut syndrome may predispose an individual to have many diseases such as Crohn’s disease, fibromyalgia, inflammatory bowel, diabetes, arthritis, irritable bowel syndrome and lupus.

This is the BEST diet advice I have ever heard (except for my own practitioner who I was blessed to discover). No one ever realizes the extent to which a healing leaky gut diet goes. But eating just vegetables and low fat meats and small amount of healthy omega 3’s is tried and true.
